How Big is the Property?
A battery powered sprayer is more convenient if you are treating large areas because you don’t have to manually pump a handle to maintain pressure. The Apex battery powered sprayer has a 12 volt battery, a 70 psi pump, and is able to operate at 2.4L/min. It has a pump speed controller for flow rate control which gives longer battery life. Typically a battery should be able to handle both low and high sprayer psi output and work for a minimum of 3 to 5 hours without recharging.
Is the Tank Durable?
Ideally you want a backpack sprayer tank that’s durable and easy to repair if components, such as pumps, need replacing. The Apex knapsack sprayer is made from high density polypropylene and the tank is suitable for most herbicides and additives. At the end of the day however, how you maintain your sprayer, i.e cleaning after usage, will aid its longevity.
Is it Comfortable?
