Ute Canopies
There isn’t one standard ute canopy for everyone. Everybody’s ute tray beds have unique features, just like their owners’ professions. Here at Austates, we do more to customise your ute canopies to suit your individual needs..
Style
Canopies come in rounded, square or traditional, with gullwing doors and raked sides. All of our canopies are made out of sturdy gauge sheet aluminium, so you can rest assured that your equipment with withstand the toughest day-to-day jobs and adverse weather conditions. Next, you can choose to finish your canopy in either checker plate (for those who like to keep it shiny) or smooth sheeting with a powder coat.
Shelving
Shelving is the other main component you’ll want customised. The difference between a standard canopy and a custom-made one it having it exactly the way you want it, including incorporating ladder bars and shelves.
Extras
If you’re storing chemicals for pest control, or power tools that you don’t want to overheat, you can choose to install vents to maintain a constant airflow. If you’re a shift worker or go out on jobs at night, lights can be installed for better visibility.
Vehicle Spray Units

Tool Boxes
We have a range of tool boxes that will suit miners, builders and pest control experts.
For builders, a 1.5mm thick, electrolytically galvanised steel tool boxes would be ideal. The drawers come with easy-to-slide, ball bearing runners and rubber seals. The toolbox itself is pretty much Fort Knox with its folding T-locks and the option for additional padlocks. Your tools will be safe no matter what part of town you’re in!
For something tougher, a mining contractors ute boxes are specifically made for rough conditions. Made from 3mm thick aluminium sheet, and fully TIG welded body joins, these toolboxes are the sturdiest around! Rubber door seals mean that water, dust and dirt will not affect your tools, preventing corrosion. We know that it gets dirty and grimy on site, which is why our miner’s toolboxes are mounted on 50mm spacers so that you can get the hose underneath them and clear all that muck out.
And if neither of these suit, we’re also happy to customise a selection of our toolboxes to suit your individual needs.
